The relatives of the 13-year-old victim of sexual abuse have accused Sarlahi district police of not registering the complaint of sexual abuse filed against 23-year-old Jitendra Shah. The relatives of the victim, on 28th September, had tried to file a complaint of sexual abuse, but the Sarlahi district police refused to file complaint, citing the lack of a birth certificate of the victim.
Shah had allegedly abused the girl in her home on 26th September. The complaint will be filed after the birth certificate is received, said DSP of Sarlahi Police, Pratit Singh Rathor. The medical checkup of the victim has not been done yet. The accused shah is absconding.
