Police on October 2 arrested 40-year-old Tulsi Bahadur Rana of Bangad Kupinde Municipality-3 on the charge of raping a 22-year-old woman.
Police arrested Rana on the basis of an oral complaint given by the victim informed inspector Umakanta Joshi of District Police Office Salyan.
The victim accused Rana of raping her repeatedly, the last time being on October 24. According to her Rana threatened to kill her if she reported about the incident to anyone. The victim is filing written complaint against the accused with the help of Insec and Race Nepal.
The victim underwent a medical examination at district hospital. The victim lodged a written complaint on October 3.
