Police arrested 46-year-old Manish Kumar Khadgi, a resident of Kathmandu-2, Hyumat tole, on charge of stabbing 45-year-old Arun Chitrakar to death on November 16. Chitrakar lived in Kathmandu-19 and worked as a laborer.
According to DSP Hobindra Bogati of Kathmandu Police Circle, Teku, it seems like a drunken dispute turned into knife attack. Police added that after stabbing Chitrakar, Khadgi took him to Trauma Centre for treatment. However, the doctor soon declared him dead.
Police shared that investigation regarding the incident is underway. Khadgi apparently gave a statement that he stabbed Chitrakar in anger because he used to belittle him.
