BHAKTAPUR, Dec 16: Three fugitives accused of murder attempt landed in police net from Bhaktapur on Monday.
The arrestees have been identified as Ramesh Silakar, Sameer Mak and Praveen Basnet from Bhaktapur. They have been accused of attacking 48-year-old Ganga Prasad Prajapati of Chyamasing-9, Bhaktapur with a sharp weapon when he was returning from a wedding ceremony last week.
Prajapati, who was critically injured in the incident, lodged a complaint at the police demanding action against the perpetrators.
A team of police from Metropolitan Police, Jagati nabbed the three suspects from Sanga Chowk-6 during a security check. They also seized 400 grams of hashish from their possession.
Based on their investigation, the police have registered a murder attempt case at the Bhaktapur District Court.
