Bimala Shrestha, 35, of Chandrapur Municipality- 5 was severely beaten up by her own brother Bikash Shrestha, 32 and his wife Anu Shrestha, 29 on 25 December because of which many parts of her body is deeply wounded.
She had visited INSEC office Rautahat with an appeal for justice. Bimala was married 15 years ago to a man from Tokha and has a daughter. She had been living at her maternal home and had left her husband after intolerable beating. Sadly, here too she was humiliated and beaten.
The victim is in a serious mental and physical abuse and is being treated at Chandranigaha Hospital. The Deputy Mayor of Chandrapur Municipality, Ramrati Chaudhary has said to help her reach court for justice.
