Missing man found dead in Melamchi

27-year-old Raj Kumar Mukhiya went missing on the night of December 22. Mukhiya worked as a laborer and got on a tractor on December 22 while returning from a construction site.
Mukhiya's body was recovered after 10 days from a river in Melamchi Municipality-10. Investigation revealed that his friends beat him to death over a drunken dispute. Police arrested Prem Yadav, Bhola Majhi Sah, Rajesh Meshtar, Rajan Sah, Ashok Sah, Binod Pashwan and Santosh Thapa Magar on the charge of murder.
