Hospital workers on strike after assault on on-call doctor

The Ramkumar Sarada Uma Prasad Muraraka Memorial Hospital of Lahan, Siraha halted the OPD and other works except emergency from Sunday. Medical Superintendent Dr. Sunil Prasad Kusuwaha said they halted the work after a person, who came with province 2 parliament member Ashok Yadav, assaulted Dr. Dipendra Thakur. DSP Sarad Thapa Chhetri of Area police office, Lahan said they were investigating upon the incident with the help of CCTV.
