Kathmandu,Apang ko rally mathi prahari ko daman. KATHMANDU, JAN 08 - Police used force on a protest rally organised by the National Federation of the Disabled Nepal (NFDN) in front of Singha Durbar, Kathmandu on Wednesday. Some of the disabled participants of the rally have been injured during the use of force by the police. The protest rally was organised demanding the representation of physically challenged persons in the Constituent Assembly. Saying the political parties failed to pick even a single disabled person in their list of candidates under the Proportional Representation category, the disabled people demanded that at least four disabled Constituent Assembly (CA) members should be selected from the 26 CA members to be nominated by the government. The police used force after the protest rally that started from Bhrikuti Mandap- Bhadrakali in wheel chair headed towards the west gate of Singha Durbar.
