A 16-year-old girl allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl on her way to tuition classes for SEE exam preparations on January 26.
According to acting police inspector of the district police office, Salyan, the accused threatened to kill the girl if she told anyone about the incident. Due to fear, the girl was not able to tell her parents about the incident for 1 month.
On March 1, with support from her friends, the girl told her parents about the incident. The victim with support from her family filed a complaint at District Police Office, Salyan on March 3.
Police arrested the accused on the same day from Sarada Municipality, Salyan.
