A person died in Kailali district after he was not admitted to the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Janak Lal Bhatta, 76, of Godavari Municipality, Ward No. 2, Teghari.

Bhatta was rushed to Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi at 11:30 am. Hemraj Bhatta, a relative of the patient stated that his uncle was rushed to the hospital at 11:30 am but the hospital stated that they didn't have ventilators. They approached another hospital called Nisargha Hospital but it stated that they didn't have competent doctors to treat Bhatta. As he couldn't be admitted for the treatment, he died immediately after reaching home.
