Sindhupalchowk, balatkaarko aropma giraftar. Police have arrested Heeralal Shrestha alias Maila, 52, of Sangachok VDC-4 on January 29 on charge of attempting to rape a 35-year-old woman. Family of the victim had filed a complaint against Shrestha on January 27 at the Police Post Sangachok accusing him of trying to rape her the previous evening. According to the victim, she managed to flee after retaliating when he tried to rape her. Police said that Shrestha admitted the charge stating that he did so in inebriated condition. The accused is kept in the District Police Office for investigation after extending his remand.
