Dalit leaders, human rights activists, civil society leaders and activists of various political parties staged a demonstration in Butwal on Wednesday protesting against the killing of Dalit youths in Rukum West. Over 200 people gathered at Puspalal Park at Vishwakarma Youth Club Butwal and displayed placards demanding action against the perpetrators of the heinous crime. The demonstration rally started from Milanchowk and converged into a mass assembly at Bishwokarma Youth Club's Puspalal Park. They also sent a memorandum letter to the prime minister through CDO Mahadev Panthi.
