Dalit Public Front staged a protest in Madane Rural Municipality on Monday, protesting against incidents of caste-based discrimination against Dalits throughout the country. The demonstrators demanded action against those involved in discrimination against Dalit during funeral rites in Pokhara, rape-murder of a Dalit girl in Rupandehi, and Chaurjahari murder incident.
The demonstrators chanted slogans against caste-based discrimination in front of the rural municipality office.
