Relatives vandalize hospital in Chitawan

The relatives of a patient undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College have vandalized the hospital on Thursday. They vandalized the intensive care unit of the hospital. According to Eknarayan Koirala, DSP of the District Police Office, Chitwan, police arrested three vandals and released in the evening. The hospital said that the glass outside the intensive care unit shattered when they pelted stones at it.

According to the hospital, 17-year-old Ashish Sunar of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-22 is undergoing treatment after appendicitis surgery. According to the President of the college, Prof. Dr Harish Chandra Neupane, they vandalized the hospital thinking that the patient had died although he was still undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit.
