Police intervene at demonstration staged over Rukum West incident in Kathmandu

Poets staged a demonstration in Kirtipur against the Rukum West murder case in a joint program of Nepal National Oppressed Student Union and ANNFSU Oppressed National Committee.
Police arrested two poets who participated in the symbolic protest program of reciting poems at Loktantrik Chowk in Kirtipur on Thursday.
Ravi Century, Co-coordinator of Nepal National Oppressed Student Union and coordinator of the program, said that the program was organized to develop awareness through poetry demanding social justice and equality.
