A team of ward chairpersons of Sanghurigadhi Municipality, Dhankuta have locked the office of the chairman Kumar Jung Yakkha on Thursday, accusing he has allocated municipality centric budget rather than the ward level. Dissatisfied ward chairman of ward no.4, ward number, 5 and ward number 6 had padlocked the office of chairman saying the chairman had decreased the budget of the ward by 2 million than previous fiscal year showing the crisis of coronavirus pandemic. The municipality had allocated the budget of 5 million to every ward in fiscal year 2019/2020 but had decreased to 3 million for fiscal year 2020/2021.
