Police arrested a youth in Tulsipur on the charge of rape. The arrested is an 18-year-old resident of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan-16 Laxmipur, said Chakra Dambarpal, Inspector at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur.

Based on the complaint filed by the victim, the police arrested the boy on Sunday and filed a case of rape. "The boy eloped with the 17-year-old girl on 26th December, on 1st May she was beaten and the rape case was filed. Both of them are below 20 years of age and their names cannot be disclosed ", said sub inspector Dambarpal.
