Consumer Rights Activists have protested against private schools for pressurizing parents to pay fees even during the lockdown. Human rights activist Indra Prasad Aryal said it is not justifiable for private schools to charge fees for these periods and all parties concerned should unite against it. Senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi added that the state has invested billions in education but it has been wasted and it's inappropriate to charge fees when a lot of people from different sectors have become unemployed.
