Khokana residents stage demonstration in Maitighar

People's committee of Khokana staged a protest in Maitighar Mandala on July 10 against fast track, 132 kV High tension line, outer ring road, Bagmati corridor and other various development projects being run by the government as they were at the expense of settlement, Newa heritage and would displace native residents. They demanded the Kathmandu Terai fast track entry point to be shifted from Khokana.
