Annapurna ashram chairperson Vaidya arrested in charge of rape

Police arrested Jagdish Baidya, the owner of Pashupati Ashram on the charge of rape on Sunday.
Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Chief SSP Shyam Gyawali said that Vaidya was arrested after the victim lodged a complaint against him . He is currently being kept in the custody cell of the premises.
"We have arrested Vaidya following a complaint lodged by a woman working in the ashram. Accordingly, an investigation is underway.
