Child beaten to death in Sunsari

A child was beaten to death at Barahakshetra Rural Municipality-1, Sunsari on Saturday. Nirmaya Rai beat 9-year-old Jabsan Rai during a fight between two children.
The victim’s relative had lodged a complaint of at Area Police Office, Mahendranagar, Sunsari to investigate upon the incident. According to the Chunu Limbu, an eyewitness, Nirmaya had assaulted Jabsan with a wooden strip. The dead body of the child was taken to hospital for postmortem Police said they were investigating upon the incident.
