One arrested for rape in Sindhupalchok

Police on Aug 6, arrested 22-year-old Pashupati Thapa of Balephi Rural Municipality 1, Khamare for raping a 12-year-old girl. On the evening of April 17, Thapa took the girl to a place near her house and raped her. On August 4, the father of the victim filed a complaint in the District Police Office and on the very same day had her health check-up at the Chautara Hospital. Inspector Ram Chandra Ghimire informed that the case is under investigation.
