A victim has lodged complaint at Area Police Office, Lahan on August 8 against 22-year-old Rohit alias Shubhaklal Das ,22-year-old Bijay Kumar Das, 21-year-old Sanjay Das, 21-year-old Jay Prakash Das of Lahan Municipality-21 and 25-year-old Aarati Shah of Karjanha Municipality-8 on charge of  gang raping 18-year-old girl.

According to the victim,  the accused gang-raped her while she was visiting  their's house on July 28.

The victim told the INSEC Siraha representative that she was late in filing the complaint as she did not know everyone and urged the locals to take initiative for justice.

According to DSP Sarat Kumar Thapa Chhetri of Area Police Office, Lahan, Vijay Kumar Das was arrested on the same day as the verbal information of the incident was received.

The girl underwent medical examination at Ram Kumar Uma Prasad Hospital in Lahan on August 7.
