On August 12, students staged a protest carrying placards with slogans against the failure of Tribhuvan University to address the education sector, which is interrupted by the coronavirus. A member of ANNFSU, Ramesh Bista said that the students are in the financial and mental stress as TU is unable to make a decision even though various institutions including Kathmandu University had started virtual studies by resolving the postponed exams through alternative methods.
