An unidentified group has vandalized the BTS tower of Nepal Telecom at Dhimadhime Lake in Bangalachuli Rural Municipality-2 on August 23.
Chief of Nepal Telecom Ghorahi Amarnath Yogi informed to INSEC representative that the electricity meter wax, mobile card, battery and other mobile Forge devices in BTS were vandalized. According to the yogi, the vandalism has caused a loss of Rs 2.5 million.
The incident took place when there was no security guard for BTS security in the forest. Chief Yogi said that a complaint has been lodged at the District Police Office about the incident.
The incident is being investigated, said SP Ganesh Chand of the District Police Office.
