A 16-year-old girl has been raped in Belbari Municipality-11, Laxminarga on Tuesday. She was raped by 11-year-old, 12-year-old, 13-year-old neighbour brothers under the instigation of a 40-year-old Hom Tamang with whom she had gone to the jungle. According to the victim, Tamang ordered the three boys to rape her.

Chief Inspector of Police, Area Police Office, Belbari, Rishi Raj Dhakal said, the complaint has been registered against Tamang.

The health examination of the victim was conducted at Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar on Tuesday.

Police said they are searching for accused Tamang and further investigation are underway.
