Police have arrested 29-year-old Devraj Jaishi on the charge of murder of 16-year-old Janak Khatri of Kumakh Rural Municipality-2 in Salyan. According to Acting-chief of District Police Office Salyan, Laxman Oli, Jaishi reportedly beat Khatri to death on the evening of September 7 while they were going from Mul Neta to Guradase. They are neighbours and had consumed alcohol together before the incident took place. Police arrested Oli Jaishi from his home on Tuesday on the basis of a complaint lodged by Tek Bahadur Budhathoki.
