Chitawan Police have arrested four persons on the charge of black marketing chemical fertilizers. Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Bhattarai informed that Binod Adhikari, Ram Krishna Timilsina, Mayanath Aryal and Nirmala Ghimire have been arrested as the Nirmal Multipurpose Cooperative of Ratnanagar was black marketing in chemical fertilizers.
It is said that the cooperative had bought the fertilizer at Rs 750 per bag and sold it at Rs 1,250. It has been alleged that Nirmal Cooperative is running the depot on contract. Further investigation is being carried out on the issue of the black market.
