Police personnel, including Inspector Wakil Bahadur Singh, were beaten by locals at the Area Police Office, Tribhuvanbasti, Kanchanpur. The angry locals also pelted stones at the Area Police Office Tribhuwanbasti, after police arrested some people of Punarbas area while they were gambling.
Acting Chief Senior Superintendent of the Far-Western Provincial Police Office, Mukesh Singh, said he had ordered to launch aan investigation into the incident.
