A person has died after being beaten by a hotel operator in Morang. According to Morang Police chief SP Santosh Khadka, 35-year-old Sushil Mallik has died after being assaulted by 26-year-Gopal Tamang of Sankhuwasabha running Hotel Unique at in Urlabari-7 of Morang. Mallik reportedly went unconscious after being pushed by Tamang to drive him out of the hotel on Sunday night after the former started quarrelling with Tamang. Mallik sustained a serious injury on his head in the incident and died on Monday morning while undergoing treatment in Silgudi of India. Police have arrested Tamang and are preparing to charge him with murder.
