Bagmati, Kabhrepalanchok, Dhulikhel
Researchers of Kathmandu University School of Science and Engineering staged a protest saying that university administration has reduced their salaries. They staged a peaceful protest at the Central Campus, Dhulikhel, on Friday, claiming that 30 percent of their salaries had been cut down.
A researcher took part in the protest said that they had to agitate after their salary was deducted. “It’s been six months since they cut our 30 per cent salary,” he said. No administration has provided us with information on why and how it deducted. That is why we have started the protest.”
