Religious leaders and followers staged a demonstration outside Pashupatinath Temple on Wednesday, demanding to lift a ban on religious sites. The Joint Religious Organization Struggle Committee has staged a demonstration with the banner ‘Let’s lift the ban on all religious places including the Temples, Monastery, Stupa, Chaitya and more.

 The government had issued the ban on visiting religious sites in lockdown period, showing the risk of spreading coronavirus.  Even though the ban on most of the areas had lifted, the ban on entering religious places is still in place saying that there will be more risk in the outbreak of coronavirus.
