Police have arrested three individuals on the charge of beating a man to death in Rautahat district. Fatinga Thakur of Garuda Municipality-7, Rautahat District was killed on Wednesday morning by hitting on a head with a wooden plank.The arrested have been identified as Dhyani Thakur (50), Nagendra Thakur (45) and Gyani Thakur (52). Phatinga, who was seriously injured in the attack, died in City Hospital, Garuda, while undergoing treatment.
Rautahat Police Inspector Sushil Kumar Pandey said there was dispute after Ram Sahay Thakur, son of Phatinga Thakur, cut the border of the orchard field of Dhyani Thakur Lohar. All the three accused had absconded after the incident.
The police later arrested Dhyani Thakur while hiding in a straw at Bhimdawar. Police said they were searching the other absconded accused. Police have taken body of the deceased to District Hospital, Gaur, for postmortem.Further investigation is underway.
