Province 1, Morang, Biratnagar
Locals under the banner of Parivartan Samaj staged a one-hour sit-in at Biratnagar Customs at the Dhat area of Jogwani checkpoint in Morang on December 4, demanding the reopening of the Biratnagar Jogwani checkpoint sealed by the government to prevent coronavirus infection.
They complained that the legal closure of the Nepal-India border for the last nine months has affected not only Nepal-India trade and business but also social and cultural relations.
