Symbolic demonstration demanding construction of West Seti Hydropower Project

A large public demonstration with 750 bamboo baskets was organized at the place between Dhungad of Baitadi and Talara of Doti on Monday demanding the construction of proposed 750 MW West Seti Hydropower Project.
Protesters from Dadeldhura, Doti and Baitadi joined the doko agitation at Dhungad in Baitadi. The protesters chanted slogans and warned to fight by forming a combat squad if the state does not build West Seti.
