Two persons were injured in a dispute about construction of a road connecting Sinyakhet to Ward No 5 in Sigas. On December 11, there was a dispute between the two local parties while trying to construct the road from Sinyakhet to Ward No 5 from a site other than designated in the DPR.

A local, Gaura Dhami has alleged that she and her husband were physically abused and indecently treated by Birendra Singh Dhami alias Bibek (a secondary school teacher) and Tilak Dhami, both are the brothers of the ward chairperson. She further alleged that they are still not investigated because of their power and connections. 

Meanwhile, Birendra Dhami has filed a petition at the Area Police Office, Patan, alleging that Gaura Dhami had insulted him and falsely accused him, the woman had come carrying a sickle and he had retaliated during the dispute.
