An elderly woman has been found killed in Punarbas of Kanchanpur. The deceased is identified as 71-year-old Khanti Bhull of Punarbas Municipality-1, Dhhaka. The victim was found dead inside her house on December 27 with injury marks of sharp weapon on her head and face.

The brother of the deceased suspects that Khanti Bhull always wore gold ornaments on her nose, ears and neck and might be killed to loot the same ornaments. Police also said that no jewellery was found on the nose of the deceased except a small nose pin.
