The majority executive members of the Rajpur Rural Municipality, Dang, padlocked the rural municipality Office demanding to stop illegal excavation of river products. According to Shyam Roka, spokesperson of the rural municipality, they awarded KC Construction Service the contract to excavate river materials from 20,700 cubic meters of Khardaria Ghat of Ward No.  3, but the construction service had excavated river products from 58,000 cubic meters.

The representatives also demanded to halt to the work of plotting playground in Rajpur-5, Dang. They accused ward chairperson Narendra Singh Bhandari of plotting the public land.
