Family members of a 17-year-old girl have lodged a complaint of rape against  22-year-old Dambar Raya of Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality-1, Saptari, at District Police Office, Saptari, on February 2. The victim’s family alleged that the accused had raped the 17-year-old victim on January 16. Health check-up of the victim was conducted at Gajendra Narayan Singh hospital on February 3.

Police said they are investigating upon the incident. The accused has been absconding since the incident.
