A sit-in protest was staged demanding justice for 17-year-old Bhagarathi Bhatta of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-7, Baitadi. 

The struggle committee formed for the justice of Bhagarathi Bhatta staged a sit-in along with the ringing of a bell in front of the District Administration Office, Baitadi on Saturday morning. 

Mahesh Bhatt, a member of the struggle committee, said that they staged the sit-in and rang the bell to draw the attention of the government that Bhagarathi's murderer had not been found even after 10 days of the incident. He said that they staged the sit-in to pressurize the government agencies to investigate the Bhagarathi murder case seriously.
