Local youths of Gaurishankar agitated against the ineffective health services of the urban health post in Birendranagar Municipality-8. They further accused that they were forced to pay expensive fees for private medical services as they did not get services from the health post.

Protestors mentioned that the agitation was organized with the objective of providing effective health services and they even staged a rally with slogans to draw the attention of the urban health centre, district public health office and the municipality.
