A 36-year-old doctor of Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj, Dr Ajay Chaudhary, lodged a complaint against the acting medical superintendent, Dr Ranjit Kumar Jha, at the District Police Office on March 11, alleging him of mistreatment. The complaint states that a group of 20 people including the accused Dr Jha, and some employees entered the residence at the hospital premises at 11 pm on March 10 and started abusing him and kicked his door.
Meanwhile, Dr Jha in a press conference organized at the hospital pointed out the shortcomings of the private hospitals that incited the incident. The door of the residence of Dr Jha and Chaudhary in the hospital premises was damaged.
