Police intervened in the protest organized by the students of the Beni Bhola Namuna Secondary School of Goudeta Municipality-8, Sarlahi, after they vandalized the Education Coordination Unit of Malangwa Municipality ward no. 2. Students who had gone to picket the education office on March 22, after the teacher’s post was cut down, have vandalized the education office.
Police had fired three tear gas shells to control the situation after the students started vandalizing the office of the school. 13-year-old Ram Kumar Mahato and 12-year-old Subodh Kumar Rai, who were studying in class seven, were injured in the tear attack. The students were sent to their home after the primary treatment at Malangawa hospital, Sarlahi.
Anil Sah, an employee of the education unit, said that the students vandalized the windows, doors, chairs and tables of the office and caused the damage of million’s rupees.
