A week long prohibitory order imposed in Udayapur

The District Administration Office, Udayapur issued a week-long prohibitory order, from May 2 to May 8, following the outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid 19).

The Udaypur District Level Covid 19 Crisis Management Committee (DCCMC) decided on May 1 that the health office should increase corona tests in collaboration with local levels and that if the decision is not implemented, the Chief District Officer will take action under the Transition Act 2020 and the Local Administration Act 2028.

The meeting decided to close the district's markets and only run the district's main markets, such as Gaighat, Beltar, Katari, Rampur, and Murkuchi, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. At this time, all four-wheelers and three-wheelers are prohibited from running. Employees' vehicles would be able to work using their identification cards. Motorcycles, too, can only be operated by one person. Vehicles transporting food and vital objects, on the other hand, would be able to move without any hindrance.
