Locals of Purbichauki Rural Municipality-5, Doti, padlocked the ward no. 5 office over a dispute of a playground's construction alleging that the playground is being constructed in an unsuitable place by forming a one-sided consumer committee. The rural municipality had allocated an amount of 3 million rupees to construct the playground. Khadak Suad, a local resident said that they have padlocked the ward office demanding to halt the work of the playground.
