Expressing solidarity with the movement of doctors, nurses, staff and students who have been protesting for 27 days demanding reform of the academy, all the political parties in Dharan and the Dharan residents' Pressure Network also stage a massive protest today on July 11 against the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Sunsari.

Addressing the corner meeting after the massive protest of the people of Dharan, the president of Dharan Civil Society Dr Rajendra Sharma accused Prime Minister KP Oli of not taking the initiative to solve the problem even as the BP Foundation was collapsing due to corruption.

All the doctors and staff warned that they will resign en masse if Dr Bishnu Pokhrel, co-coordinator of Pratishthan Shuddhikaran Abhiyan Sangharsh Samiti, said that the Vice-Chancellor Dr Gyanendra Giri, Head of Education Dr Guru Khanal, Registrar Dr Mohan Chandra Regmi and director Gauri Shankar Sah do not resign from their post.
