Police arrested Mahendra Yadav, a 26-year-old resident of Godaita Municipality-7, Sisaut on July 9 on the charge of attempting to rape an 18-year-old girl. The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused Yadav and 25-year-old Rajendra Ray Yadav on July 5.
