The victim's side lodged a complaint against Bhakta Bahadur Tamang, a 71-year-old resident of Panchkhapan Municipality-2 at the District Police Office on July 4 accusing him of raping their 5-year-old daughter on May 24. The search for the accused who absconded immediately after the victim's complaint is underway. According to police, the victim's side delayed in lodging the complaint as the incident took place in the border area of Taplejung.
