July 24, The District Court has released Dev Kumar Sada, 26, of Madhupatti VDC-3, who is accused of raping a 20-year-old girl, on bail on July 24. Judge Nabaraj Dahal issued the verdict to release Sada on a bail of Rs 35,000. The locals had taken the accused in control on June 24, 2014 on charge of raping the woman. They had handed him over to the Area Police Office Kalyanpur on June 25. Medical check-up of the victim was conducted at the Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital on June 28. Brother of the victim had registered a complaint of rape against him at the APO on July 1.
