Police arrested Raj Sharma, 48, a doctor operating Subash Medical Hall in Dhankuta Municipality-7 on July 9 on the charge of having unnatural intercourse with a 53-year-old male patient.

The victim's side filed a case against the accused at the District Police Office on August 9. The victim was admitted to the medical hall due to urinary problems and according to the victim's side, the accused raped him on August 8 after consuming alcohol. According to police, a case is registered under the heading of unnatural intercourse under Article 226 of paragraph 18 of Schedule 1 of the Criminal Code.
